1) Is the Bible still relevant today? Are we substantially unlike the churches Paul wrote to?
2) What are examples of the winds or storms in your life that stress your roots?
3) What is something you acutely struggle with that others don’t and vice versa?
4) Backing up to Colossians 2:4, Paul says “I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments.” What are examples of arguments or ideas embraced within the church that are selfish desires? (eg. Prosperity gospel, eternity in hell, only one way to heaven)
5) Like the intertwined roots of the redwood tree, what are ways you’re connected or should be supported by others? What changes do you need to make?
