Can you relate to being like a sheep? - Ezekiel 34:4 You do not strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the broken, bring back the stray or seek the lost. Instead, you have ruled over them with force and cruelty.
God rebukes the shepherds of Israel for not doing these things. What are tangible ways a shepherd or spiritual leader can strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the broken, bring back the stray or seek the lost? - In John 10:1-4 Jesus talks about calling out His sheep and bringing them out from the atonement of sins by the Law of Moses. What are others things Jesus, The Good Shepherd, is calling us out from that do not lead to life?
- John 10:17-18 “For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, so that I may take it up again. No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”
