Beginning this Sunday, November 13, the ICF will begin studying together on Sunday mornings the book of Acts. This in an invitation for you to participate in this study by attendance, if possible, but even more so by reading the book of Acts along with us. I will return to my practice of writing a brief commentary of the chapter that we are studying that week. I will do that every Tuesday.
By way of introduction, I will say that the author, Doctor Luke, addressed the book to Theophilus and described it as containing “all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen” (1:1-2). This description alone should give us a wonderful incentive to follow Luke in this study.
Welcome to the journey. See you next Tuesday!
