[5] It appears that Jesus supernaturally saw Nathaniel under the fig tree. Do you believe that Jesus sees you today, wherever you may be? How does this comfort you? (Have someone in the group read what Psalm 139 promises about God).

[6] The last verse of our Bible lesson quoted Jesus talking about angels ascending and descending between earth and heaven. When Jacob had a dream like that, he saw a ladder between heaven and earth. Jesus did not use the word “ladder” in His words to Nathaniel. But He did describe a ladder! WHO is that ladder? Discuss the significance of these words that Jesus spoke to Nathaniel.
